CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2024 KSFFA AUXILIARY SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS AWARDED IN APRIL
Get a head start on the 2025 scholarship application and be prepared to mail it before February 1, 2025. We received 26 applications in 2024 with 6 being incomplete (no transcript), 1 not full time, and 1 postmarked after the deadline. The completed applications are reviewed by an independent group of professors who rated them as outlined in the scholarship guidelines.
The firefighter scholarships were awarded to:
Mitchyl Robert David Walters of Coffey County Fire District #1, Burlington majoring in Fire Science.
David Pittaway Scholarship was awarded to:

The James E. Todd Academic Scholarships were awarded to:

Rylan Leon Goossen of Montezuma Fire Department majoring in Diesel Technology for Agriculture Equip. & Precision Ag Tech
Harlee Donovan of Russell City Fire Department majoring in Exercise Science
Jett Skocny of Clyde Volunteer Fire Department majoring in Construction Science and Management
Addison Jo Gottschalk of City of Salina Fire Department majoring in Accounting
Justice Blake of Sedgwick County, KS Fire District #1 majoring in Health Sciences
Kassi L Weber of Victoria Volunteer Fire Department majoring in Health & Human Performance
Remember, full-time students can reapply each year. The deadline for applications is February 1, 2025. Please remember that school & community activities, along with volunteer activities at the local fire department, can improve the points applicants score. Scholarship winners will be announced at the 2025 KSFFFA Conference in Hays.
SUPPORTING KSFFA SCHOLARSHIPS
An auction and raffle will be held at the conference to fund the 2024 scholarships. We appreciate all the firefighters, family members, and fire departments who participated in these activities, plus the donations we received to raise funds for the scholarships.
